2017 will be a year to remember at The Ground_Up Project!
- The new sourcing and pre-due-diligence process has generated a US$100 million portfolio of impactful, investable opportunities.
- We have expanded our network of entrepreneurs well over 1000 worldwide – across many economic sectors and impact investment themes.
- We have connected with more investors and service providers – ranging from billion-dollar size asset managers to family offices and individual investors – to help them find good quality investable impact ventures.
- The online benchmarking system – Value Compass VC2.0 – now approved by investors – has helped entrepreneurs measure their readiness and prepare for investment. We have learned what makes a deal attractive and what obstacles entrepreneurs face when meeting investors’ criteria.
There will be lots to come in the New Year, right from the start!
Stay tuned for exciting announcements for entrepreneurs, impact investors and service providers alike. We are creating new opportunities to match capital with impact ventures and to assist entrepreneurs in reaching their ‘investment-ready’ potential, all over the world.
Thank you all for doing your part to transform the way we live, move and consume. And a special big thank you to the most hard-working, committed team you could ever meet: The Ground_Up Project team!
2017 was also special because my daughter was born and I have never had such a good reason to make our world a better place for future generations. Join me in the new year to continue making a difference.
Enjoy the holidays!
With lots of love.
